Forum Criteriorum – seminar on assessment in basic, vocational and upper secondary school education

The Matriculation Examination Board organizes an international seminar on criteria-based assessment in basic, vocational and upper secondary school education together with the Finnish Education Evaluation Centre (FINEEC). The keynote speekers in the seminar will be Benő Csapó (Professor of Education, University of Szeged), Gudrun Erickson (Professor of Education, University of Gothenburg) and Lip Sin Yue (Director, Assessment Planning and Development, Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board).

Besides the plenary sessions there will be parallel sessions with invited lectures e.g. on the following topics: assessment of learning results, assessment of competences, matriculation examination and other final assessments, ICT, teacher training, and vocational education. The programme of the seminar will be published during the spring.

There is a poster exhibition in the seminar. Poster proposals should be sent to the organizing committee (see contact information below) by August 17th 2015. The poster presenters are responsible for printing and bringing their posters to the site of the seminar.

Preregistration for the seminar starts on 13 April 2015. More information will be available soon on the Matriculation Examination Board’s web pages.
