Assessment of vocational competence in the upper secondary level vocational qualifications in horse care and management, beauty care, and information and telecommunications technology
08/2015 - 05/2019
A national learning outcome assessments for vocational qualifications in horse care and management, beauty care, and information and telecommunications technology began in autumn 2015. The learning outcomes are collected from vocational skills demonstrations that are implemented and evaluated according to current vocational upper secondary qualification requirements.
The assessment focuses on all students who began their studies in these fields in the autumn of 2015, including special needs students. The assessment does not include vocational upper secondary qualifications that are completed as competence-based qualifications.
The learning outcomes are collected from all vocational skills demonstrations completed by students during three academic years. The quantitative data will be supplemented in the spring of 2018 with e.g. self-assessments by education providers and evaluation visits.
The national final reports will be completed in 2019.
