ENQA's external review

FINEEC regularly participates in the external evaluation of its activities. The last external review of FINEEC’s evaluation activities in higher education was carried out in 2021 by European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (ENQA).

FINEEC passed the review and reconfirmed its full membership in ENQA and renewed its registration in EQAR, the register of trusted European quality assurance agencies.

External review 2021-2022

FINEEC and especially its higher education evaluation activities were externally evaluated in 2021 by European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). An international panel of experts appointed by ENQA conducted the evaluation. The panel conducted an online visit to FINEEC in September 2021. In the review, FINEEC had to show compliance with the ESG in order to pass the review and to renew its membership in ENQA and the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).

Although the main focus of the evaluation was on the agency’s higher education evaluation activities, part of the assessment included the entire organisation (e.g. the goals and objectives, official status, independence, internal quality management and resources of the organisation).

According to the report of the panel of experts, FINEEC complies fully with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ESG 2015), with the exception of one standard.
