Piloting the Evaluation System in the Vocational Qualifications in Logistics and Social and Health Care and the Further Vocational Qualification in the Transport Sector

Vocational education

The evaluation system has undergone several years of development based on information gathered through meta-evaluation, external evaluation and workshops organised for different stakeholders. In an effort to account for the changes occurring in the operating environment of vocational education and training, the new evaluation system has strengthened the role of students and workplaces in producing evaluation data. Evaluations additionally draw on existing data depositories and data sets as far as possible. In the evaluation methods, FINEEC’s principles of enhancement-led evaluation are followed, in which an interactive and multi-method approach is emphasised.

The new evaluation system was piloted in 2019 and 2020 in the vocational qualifications in logistics and social and health care, as well as in the further vocational qualification in transport. The results of the evaluation of vocational qualification in the transport sector were published in June 2020. The results of the evaluations of the vocational qualifications in logistics and social and health care were published in March 2021.
