Electrical and Automation Industry

Vocational education

The evaluation of the vocational, further vocational and specialist vocational qualifications in the electrical and automation industry was implemented in 2021-2022. The aim of the evaluation was to provide information on how well students had achieved the professional qualification requirements and competence objectives and what kind of competence they would acquire for the working life and postgraduate studies. In addition, the quality of pedagogical activities of education providers was examined.

The evaluation included a qualification-specific self-evaluation, the aim of which was to support the education providers in identifying their own strengths and development needs. The education providers implemented the self-evaluation in cooperation with working life. Education providers received feedback on their own results during the spring of 2022.
