Evaluation of the learning outcome evaluation system for vocational education and training (VET)

The evaluation focused on the functionality, usefulness, reliability and development needs of the learning outcome evaluation system for vocational upper secondary qualifications. The objective was to develop the national evaluation of learning outcomes so that it meets the needs of a changing operating environment for VET and is even more useful for education providers, the Finnish National Board of Education, and stakeholders. The evaluation included, for example, a survey for education providers, workshops, and expert panels. In addition, the evaluation system was evaluated externally. The evaluation also provided a synthesis on the results provided by the earlier evaluations of learning outcomes.
